I decided to focus on the curved seam in the middle for this. It called for a vine in my opinion, so that's what I did. I also did some ribbon and bead stuff on it. Hopefully she likes it. It's already in Finland.

Lunch in Punta del Este
It's been a while since I've shown some food pictures. These are from lunch at Garibaldi's in Punta del Este. It's in the shopping area of the resort, and run by an Italian expat who also does the chef duties. It was excellent! This was my meal - bread overlaid with chunks of panceta and broiled with melted cheese.
The spaghetti carbonara was Andreas' main course. He said it was the best he's had outside of Italy - except for that made by his father. The owner was very pleased by the compliment.
And a picture of the antipasto. All fresh and good. Andreas commented on the parmesan too. It wasn't the local stuff.

A poster in the restaurant put up for the World Cup.
The outside of the place.

Marya's Garden Block
Another English Garden block for the round robin, this time for Marya. This is how it looked before I worked on it.
And this is how it looked when I got done with it. For some reason, it told me to put ribbon and daisies on it, which I did. I also used some of those leather shapes to make flowers. I hope she likes the result.

Ornament for Exchange
It's the time of year to exchange ornaments again, and I sent this one as part of the Brooke's Books exchange. It went to Mexico for Maru. She's gotten it and the temari I included with it, and likes it. Yay, mission accomplished!

More Costume Pictures
This mall, by the way, was formerly a prison. In fact, the current president of Uruguay was incarcerated here for fourteen years. But on to the costumes. These ones are from Joan of Arc, I think. There are some lower down that have some neat embellishment!
Creeping Along si
I seem to be done with the skirt itself pretty much - finally. Still getting kind of sick of golden brown, but it does look good.
