Temari From Stephen

Stephen sent me this absolutely lovely temari in exchange for the one I sent him.  It took a loooooong time to get here because the mail service to Moldova has been held up by Turkish Air.  I'm so happy it got here, though!  It's amazingly intricate.

One Corner Done

The top left quarter is done with both steps five and six.  Now to get the bottom left done.

After the pre-Christmas temari marathon, I've not been making many.  This one, though, is started!

Crazy Start #24- Californian Poppy

Yet another piece where you start on the border.  This one, though, uses filament silk, so is a bit finicky.  It shines and is soooo soft, though!

TAST Week 4 - Cretan Stitch

I decided to thread my Cretan stitch after doing it.  I kind of like the effect.  It looks like a  warm scarf on a cold winter day.

Swag And A Half

I've got a swag and a half now; it's coming along nicely.  The next part doesn't get sent until near the end of February.

Branching Out

I've started more than straight background now.  There's a real branch.  Unfortunately, this whole page (of the eight) has no peacock on it whatsoever.  It's all background.
