Zoo Yard Animals

 This area isn't really a petting zoo because the animals are able to get away from wandering toddlers, but it is an area to interact closely with animals found in residential situations in Texas.

Fly Away

Working on the body and tail now as the dragon looks like he's going to fly away.

Last Of The Show

 I don't know if the Fort Worth Zoo is still doing this show or has gone on to another.  If they still have it, it's a good way to while away a good part of an hour at the zoo.

A Leaf And Feathers

There are  a few more feathers on the peacock and a leaf peeping out on the right.

Out In The Audience

 Volunteers were getting into the act too, along with the audience.

Berried

The berries and birds are done now.  I am beginning to debate with myself the idea of starting some backstitching and beading.

Barn Show

When we were there two years ago, the Fort Worth Zoo had a very entertaining educational show.  They had trained their animals and made a play with them - someone had stolen something from the farm.  The dog was the investigator and the other animals were witnesses and suspects.  It was very well done, and you could tell the animals enjoyed it.  The critters ranged from commonplace to exotic.
