Convoy

The Normandy Tank Museum is rather new, having opened last year, and is on the main highway through Bayeux to Cherbourg.  They have most of their display set up as a long pair of convoys - one Allied, one German.  They also have tank rides.  It's an interesting place.

Give Yourself Advent

I ordered my advent calendar yesterday!  It's from Atelier 196 and has a gift for each day of December up to Christmas.  I did this last year and it was so much fun opening something different and useful each day.  She ships worldwide, and the shipping's reasonable!  If you'd like to treat yourself in the lead up to Christmas, here's the link!

Banded

During the second week of Krakow and the flight back I managed to get quite a bit of stitching done on this.  Four bands down and now time to do another cross stitch band.  It's much smaller and I am now more than half way done.

Chickens In The Road

This is the road we live on, on our block.  These are some of the chickens that live on our block.  They escaped one morning and we took pictures on our way to work.

Out And Back To The Church

Out from the second building of the airborne museum and back to the church.  We wandered around the town a bit, found an army navy store, and browsed.

Making Some Lines

Still without the Neon Rays Plus to do the lettering.  I did get some work done on the rider and the border.

Pretty Appetizers!

One of our friends, John McKellar, was on the Queen's List this year.  What did this mean?  A big ceremony and reception at the British Residence to knight him!  I thought the appetizers were pretty, so we took photos of those, too.  We're proud of you, John!
