All The Way From Australia

Andreas ordered these for me after I said I wanted them.  They're from Jane Nichols, and I've been wanting to do them for a while.  I own both the books they're from.  Now to find the time to do them!  It looks like, starting next month, my time will be even more limited than now.  It'll be summer work and travel season and one of our section members got a great job in another consular section halfway around the world.

Crazy January Start #30: Sunflower Card

I'm not exactly crazy about the printing on the fabric, but it seemed to start out all right.  This is a Russian kit; I've never seen printing in this style on the fabric before.

Stash Steals

One small shop that has a bunch of knick knacks in Odessa is getting rid of its stitching section.  I found these two kits on sale there and snapped them up.  The left is cross stitch and the right is beading.

I'm getting closer to the end of all this red.  Maybe I should just plow through and get this done.

Odessa Last Week

It's amazing how few tourists there are in a city in winter in a country at war.  We were the only people with foreign plates that we saw.  On the other hand, everything was open and beautiful and it was definitely worth the trip.

The photo directly below shows a makeshift war memorial.

Crazy January Start #29: Trent Cottage

This is another little cottage magnet like the one I finished a bit over a year ago.  This one, for some reason, looks like less stitching to me.
