Cute Hearts

When we were picking up framing at MolDeco, we bought these little stitched hearts.  Together, they were under $15.  I really like them!  They were made by the ladies who do the order taking at MolDeco.

Back To Pekin

We actually took the Friday group to the Chinese restaurant, Pekin, the day after we tried it out.  Everyone enjoyed their food, but there were a few problems from the kitchen.  Evidently they have to be reminded to finish orders for tables.  The only other problem - no duck sauce for the egg rolls.

Harboring A Flower

My Serenity Harbor sampler is beginning to get bordered.  This thing is huge - nearly 200 x 600 stitches.  Anyway, I've decided to stitch from my Hand Dyed Fibers stash.  I will probably have to buy some as I go farther, but for now, it works.

Slowpoke

I did some of the area right of the peacock and am wondering if I'm ever going to get this done.

Goldwork!

Yay!  I get to start some goldwork.  Jen Goodwin is teaching it for the CyberStitchers chapter.  The kit is beautifully packaged.

New Chinese

A new Chinese restaurant opened a few blocks from the embassy.  We went for lunch with Theresa before inviting the group to go for Friday dinner.  They did a pretty good job!

Four Boxes

The painted copper tiles were given to me by my mom.  She got them from a local Fort Worth artist.  MolDeco made them useful and displayable!  Each of these four boxes is made completely out of framing material and cost less than $80.  I think they look great as a set and I will be using them as jewelry boxes.
