First Part Finally Done

With the completion of the flower on the right, I'm finally done with the first of twelve parts.  I've gotten part of the second part done, but I am finding it hard to ensure I line things up properly.  It seems area between the parts doesn't overlap on charts.  I hope I haven't made any counting mistakes so far.  Needless to say, my color choices are all dfferent, as they're from my stash of Vikki Clayton's Hand Dyed Fibers.  I'm hoping to do the whole thing from stash.

Silk Mill Sale

The Silk Mill had a sale a few weeks ago.  The package on the right was free when I bought the package on the left.  It's all a good deal.  Love all the colors.

Uncovering The Other

The peahen is beginning to make her appearance in front of the peacock.

Sale Thread

Fireside Stitchery had a sale a few weeks ago on Gloriana perle 12 thread.  I bought two lots and ended up with these eight gorgeous skeins.  Can't wait to use them.

Gilding The Structure

No actual gargoyle stitching this time.  I did more of the golden structure in the middle and the squares on the sides.

Chateau Migdal - Products

 We received the top boxes filled with wine for fifty lei (about $3) each.  We also bought some other things from the company store next door.

On The Column

I have done some more of the brown house this time.  The stucco before the window is filling in more.  I hope that I can do a bit more soon.
