Evening Out

The parts of the maze are getting more even side to side.  They're also getting closer to the middle.  The right side pipe is even past the middle!

Odessa's Book and Bicycle Bar

We decided to stop in at the terrace of the restaurant with the bicycles around it during our first evening in Odessa.  The drinks were top notch.  The food, not so much.  I started out with a mojito.  We were given a free bouche of bread with babaganoush.  The salads were good.  It was the hot food that was the problem.  It was just bland and uninspired.

At the bottom you can see our flight of twelve different tinctures - homemade type liquors in different flavors.  My absolute favorite was the raspberry.  Andreas rounded things off with a chocolate shake.

Pisa'ed

I spent pretty much the full week stitching the Pisa triangle, but it's done.  Now all four cities are done and I can just work on the last quarter of the border.

Welcome Pillow

The welcome has been waiting around a bit to be finished off, so I did it.  At the beginning of the year I had hoped to get things done like this on a regular basis.  Life hasn't worked out that way and I am feeling very stressed that what I had hoped and planned to do isn't coming about because I keep getting dragged into social things.  I'm truly not an extrovert, but people think I am.  I very much need my down time where I can be alone and -do- things.

Lunch At Purcari

After our unexpected tour and wine tasting, we finally had the lunch we had thought we had reserved for!  The salads were beautiful and tasty, with fresh ingredients straight from the garden.  Andreas had duck, which he enjoyed, and I had some scrumptious veal ribs.  Maybe we'll be able to eat there one more time before we leave for good.

Sanding It Up

I'm slowly getting this closer to being done.  It shouldn't take this long!
