The dragon officially has an eye now.  I've also started getting a little done on the first curve downward.  It feels like progress.

Angolan Independence Night Fireworks

Angola celebrated its independence day on November 11, the same as our Veteran's Day.  That means we get one less holiday off because of the overlap.  On the other hand, it was the fortieth anniversary of independence, so they put on a very nice fireworks show we could watch from the apartment.

One Birdie Done

One birdie is all done and I've got some other bits started too.  The good thing about bayeux stitch is it goes fast.
