At The Cafe

We had a nice lunch at the cafe on the other side of the street from our apartment on our last full day in Vienna.  We miss Vienna.  At least next year it'll be a lot easier to visit.

Working Through Halfway

I've got the motif done for the central rectangle.  The background, though, is a lot of stitching!

I Made It

Because I am in a clean it out, finish it off phase of pre-pack out, I made this necklace from one of my For The Makers boxes.  I'm sad they're out of business.  Necklace wasn't too hard and it came out pretty cool.

Centimeter Breakfast

Andreas decided to try breakfast at Centimeter too, so we made the whole round of meals.  Had a really good conversation with the waitress, and I wish we could get breakfast like this in Angola...

Sailing Along

Today my dragon struck me as a boat on the water, sailing serenely along.  Slowly I am getting more and more done.

Furry Cups!

While my boss and his wife have been away, we've been watching one of his dogs, Austin.  He and Mattie get along well, and Austin likes chasing the cat.  First he has to find her, which he has done less of this second visit than the first.

After they got back from their safari a couple of weeks ago, they gave us this spiffy camp cup set.  It's got either antelope or giraffe fur for the cozy, and the whole set will go very well with our Uruguay stuff.

Thank you Sam and Annie!

Centimeter Dinner

After having had lunch with his class at Centimeter Pub, Andreas decided we should have a dinner there, too.  We did, and it was good and huge.  I had the small chicken wings - a kilo.  Andreas had a green salad and some goulash.  We also split some cheese schnitzel.  I want to learn the Austrian breading technique.  I am enamored.  Food was good; we were among the few there actually to eat instead of have a few beers after work, so we got a bit more attention because of the bigger bill.  Centimeter's evidently a small restaurant chain in Vienna, and their gimmick is that certain dishes are served by the meter.  If you find one, go.
