April Started

April's off to a good start.

Bringing In Earth

I have now started stitching a bit of the earth.  I am almost halfway down the second page, so progress is seen.  I love the way the wing is looking!

Chicken

Once we were done eating at the beach on our street tour, we went to one of the Muslim quarters.  There, we had three types of chicken.  From left to right, the names we were told were chicken sandwich, chicken roti, and chicken roll.  Of the three, I liked the chicken roll the best.  Left to right is also the order of spiciness, with left being the spiciest.  All good, just the rolls were fantastic.  Here's a recipe for the chicken roti.  This chicken roll recipe is also from Mumbai, but doesn't look like what I ate.

Yet more birds, but I think these ones are herons.

More Snowflakes

I keep making more snowflakes.  At some point soon I have to be done with this top border!

Some Scaffold

Not a great picture; I apologize.  My husband will be taking them in another couple of weeks.  In the meantime, I keep stitching away.  This has more of the house scaffold on it on the left now.  I've even got a few stitches on the right.

Kulfi

It's ice cream, but it's not ice cream.  This particular slice has five flavors.  My favorite was the mango.  The pistaschio and the cream were kind of meh.  It's much denser than regular ice cream.  Here's a recipe for mango kulfi.
