It's Not That Dark

I bought these two pieces of cotton lawn on my first visit to the fabric market in Mumbai.  They were the only pieces I bought; my local guide was sort of baffled at being in that place at all.  They've both got beautiful machine embroidered peacock feathers on them.  I have yet to decide what to do with it, though.  Sorry for the dark photo.  It was taken by me in my hotel room.

Marbly Fabric

I saw this fabric on pinterest and found it on sale at joann.com.  It's mine now!

Marching Elephants

I have eggs and elephants so far.  What other handpainted items did I buy?

Showboating Along

He just grows more handsome with each stitch.  I've started on the globe pretty well now, too.

Stitch Maynia Start

I have decided to switch over to Stitch Maynia instead of Crazy January because it's a much more active community.  That's why I did only fifteen starts in January.  I will not be doing Crazy January at all next year.  This start is flag box, and it's a really quick stitch.  I'm hoping to get more stitching done before the end of the year and get a bunch more things finished.  Hopefully this will be one of them.

Keyring

This is part of what you get when you spend too much money at an Indian store.  Not sure what I'm going to do with it, as Andreas thinks I already have too much on my keychain.

Three Small, One Big

Three of the elephants are approximately 2x3 feet, and the one with the red background is about 3x5 feet.  They are all handmade and quilted, with a bunch of stitches and beads.  I am going to have to find places for these in the next place.
