Blingy Barrette

This hand beaded barrette was found at Indian Market in Santa Fe a week ago.  It's all sparkly and pretty in my hair.  It even matches the kurtas I brought with me.

Still working on the background, a lot of it, and making one of the wings look full.

All Filled In

The inside of the diamond is all stitched now.  I won't be cutting until everything else is done.  Not sure I like this working from bottom to top.

Trashed

Lots of trash on the beach.  It's this way all over Angola.  Trash piles up and up and no one takes care of it.  There's not a single complete block in Luanda that doesn't have trash like this on it.  Depressing.

I'm down to the bottom edge of the border.  It looks like I will finish soon!
