Independence Day In Macedonia

Turns out we visited Skopje on its Independence Day.  The only way you could tell was the deserted streets and the closed government buildings.  We wandered a bit and got more instagram photos.

Where's That Wing?

One big part of the upper wing done.  This thing is coming along.  It's not as fast as I want, but it's getting there.

Mountains, Both Sides

Quite a bit done on the mountains on both sides, especially the left, and some work on the tail.

New Dooney And Bourke

About three months ago, zulilly had Dooney and Bourke on sale.  I've been impressed by my Texas Rangers pus, so I decided to give another couple a try.  They seem  to stand up pretty well.

Statuesque

Almost all of downtown Skopje is covered in statues.  It's kind of weird.

Avondale

My crewel GCC arrived.  Now to find time to get it done.

Middle square all filled up.  Time to do the outside and get this puppy done.
