Getting More Batty

Totally working on the seventh square now, and it's going pretty well. I've got a few bats to do.

Yay, It's Done

One thing about these surface embroideries is how quickly they work up. I love it. Here, I have Wildwood done and framed. Andreas loves the look of the ladybug, so we're keeping it.

Random Restaurant

There wasn't much choice on the castle hill for food in Budapest. It was a pain. So I started to learn the bus system to remedy that. This was still on the hilltop, but the rest of the meals weren't. Most of the food was very meh.

Ipsy October

My hiatus from ipsy ended and I got my first box from them again. Yay for now doing  the make up bag with the plus! I missed it. Part of the joy of ipsy is the make up bag. The rest was all stuff I'll use, too.

Working On Trees

I have trees growing on the left top. They're coming alive around the garden. So are the bricks of the left hand house.

Crown Of Petals

More petals done on the flower on the left, and, since they're the top ones, they look like a crown. It's getting done slowly.

First Dinner in Budapest

After moving the embassy, Andreas had a conference to go to in Budapest. I went along with him, as I hadn't seen much of my husband for months. We stayed at the Hilton by the palace. Nice place, but the food for dinner was pretty meh with limited choices. We ate with one of Andreas' friends and had what is laid out in front of us here at the bottom. The first photos, up through the bread, were from one of the few restaurants on the hill open for lunch on a Sunday. The food was totally overpriced, The goulash as flavorful but low on meat and high on potatoes. The cucumber salad was good. So was the bread. But a disappointing first food day.
