Work, Work, Work
I'm back at a point of a lot of filling in, so at least I complete a few rows each time I do this. It's to the point where I'm getting close to starting the last, short page.

The Middle Part
I know I'm making progress, but it just doesn't show much. On the other hand, with those confetti stitches, I know they go down to the bottom....

Tiny Bits
I had done only a few stitches before picture taking time came along this week. Every stitch helps, though!

Tops Of Letters
Still filling in tiny spots to gt the rows done. I completed four rows that way this week. Definite progress is being made, but I wish I were done!

Feeling Stalled
I'm feeling stalled on this again. Each week, lately, I make progress of only a couple of rows. On the other hand, I'm more than two thirds of the way to done. Maybe I'll feel like I'm making more progress when I get to turn the page in about thirty rows.

Dead Tired of Red
I never thought I would be so tired of working with one color. I am now, although the piece is coming together and looking pretty good.

Off The Edge
One problem with relying on the edges for a change of pace is that there is a limited supply of edge. This means that I'm back to working on red again. It's a little more challenging with all the confetti stitching, but still red.

Back And Forth
Just going back and forth with red. Had a small break in that I was able to use darker colors on the left border area.

Tired
I am pretty tired of this piece at this point. It could be that I'm in between focal points and just doing minor variations every row.

Still Seeing Red
I've still got the red splotch problem on the right, so my counts don't always add up, but it's coming along. I'm getting rather tired of red back and forth and back and forth, though.

In The Red Sea
I'm working a couple of rows a week on this, which is good progress, but it just seems to be one big sea of red at the moment.

Work Around
I told you about the one stitch over problem in a previous post. Here's my workaround: I've stitched the top part of the Chinese character so I can make sure something's in the right place. Now I can just ad the reds in around it. There's not going to be a real difference in looks if they're a stitch off.

Figuring Out
Last week I told you my problem with the big red splotch. I think I've figured a way around it. I'm going to stitch in the top of the black character below and then just scootch everything around it to make the rest fit. In this kind of randomish red background, being off a stitch isn't going to matter, and the character will be in the right place. Next picture of this will show what I mean to do.

Still in the Red
Not only is everything still red, I have some major problems to fix: that big blob of red on the bottom right is one stitch off to left. I'm not doing it over because it won't really make a difference in the long run. I just need to make sure that when I put the black in again, I remember the problem!
