Ten Done

Ten motifs done, and started on the eleventh.  I like some of them better than others.  It's easy to feel progress with this project, though.

All Caught Up

The next part of this doesn't come out until the 16th, so I've got a bit of time to just relax and do something else.  Wonderful feeling!  Part eight is done and I am awaiting part nine.  The designer of this wonderful piece is Pelin Tezer Zir, by the way.

Working on an Angel

The backstitching on the wings for this ninth motif was tedious to do.  It's done now, though, and I'm almost done with this motif overall.

All Parts Received!

I am a third of the way done now, and have all the motifs in my hands to finish the rest.  Thank you, designers and the Susannes for making this possible!

Third Row Done

All done with the third row and caught up with the release of parts now.  It feels good to be on time with something!

Working Toward the Goal

The deadline to do one of each week's motifs is the end of the year.  So far, I've got three of seven weeks, plus working on the fourth.  I -think- I can get it done.  Thee rest of the motifs can get stitched through the year otherwise.  Right now, the goal is just to get one from each week done to get the following week's motifs.

Leafed Our

The secon row is all leafed out now.  On to finishing up the row of flowers above it.

One Row Complete

Bright and colorful noel is done; now on to bells.

Flowers on these two bands are a big change from the bottom two.

Three and a Half

I'm behind as usual, but at least I've almost got four of 24 done!

Making It Bumpy

There's more to this band than was shown before.  Here's the top taking shape!

Advental...

We're supposed to do four of these a week, but as usual I'm behind!  There will be a total of 24 motifs, and I am stitching them all together on one piece of linen.

Four Parts Done

I've now got four parts done.  Since this is over one, the width is about four and a half inches.  At some point, I'll have Andreas take a picture with a coin next to it.

A Sticklounge Christmas

I've started a new Sticklounge project.  This is an advent calendar, with 24 different squares by several designers.  I've got one done!

Other Half, Second Band

Is definitely started.  Now to finish it and catch up to where other people are.

Purple Garden Done

Yay, a pretty big finish!  There's a mistake on the left border, but since I was about 90 rows up when I noticed it, I doubt anyone else will either.  Other than that, I think it came out pretty well.  It's a pattern from Sticklounge, and I did it in HDF Examplar Ox Blood and Examplar Milligrubs. 

The Pattern Emerges

This second band is a Florentine design that looks like wallpaper.  It's also coming along fairly well.  Maybe I can complete it soon.

On the Last

I started the last part.  It's coming to the end.

Started Part Three

Seems like today's postings are about mini-milestones. Part three is now started on my berlinwork sampler, which means I'm on the last part given and finally past where I messed up. The tassels look cute so little there, don't you think?

A Bit of Blackwork

Yay, part eight is now done and there's only one more part to go.  On top of that, the little blackwork tiling at the top was kind of fun to do as a break from cross stitch.
