Folded Square Pillow Ornament

 This was a pretty large square before the ornament, so it ended up fairly large. Came out pretty well, too.

Yay, another thing done. I love that I'm motoring on in finishing things. This will be made into an ornament soon.

 

Lots Of Squares

Abandoning Blackwork Hearts

The colors don't work on this and it's truly hard to stitch with this floss and fabric, so I'm abandoning it. 

Joy - Stitch Maynia #14

The blue at the bottom is not part of the design. I'm reusing a piece of fabric. The design was a freebie from Banu, who had to close her business because of a change in Turkish business law. 

Jamming To The Bottom

Outside of the beads, there isn't much left to do on this. The spinner hasn't been nice to it, however. It hasn't been spun all week.

Backstitching

Lots of backstitching this time, and not much cross stitch.  Got a lot of it done, though. Coming together into a frame.

A Blackwork Finish!

This became the daily project for a bit, and in less than a week it was done.  I like the color choices I made, but now I don't know what I am going to do with this.

On To The Fourth

Working on the fourth motif now.  I am getting close to finishing this!

Beginning number three of four identical motifs.

Stitch Maynia #17 - Enchantment

This is a small design from The Sweetheart Tree.  It's coming along well, as I worked on it on the flights between Pristina and London on my way to the hospital.  It's now in my rotation and should be done soon.  Going to the nurse who flew with me there.

Stitch Maynia #9 - Blackwork Hearts

No black on this piece, but I started with what I had on hand - silk mill floss and fiberlicious fabric.  Now to just finish it.

Stitch Maynia #6 - Vintner's Sampler

This little piece is by The Sweetheart Tree.  It's going to be a pretty quick stitch - this i all the way across, and the arch is a goodly portion of the whole thing.  I need to find more stitching time.

More Than Halfway

When you start working on things, you get them done!  I'm now officially more than halfway done with this.  I like the color combination.

Almost Half

The second motif is almost done, and I am thinking next time I might be halfway done.

One Medallion Done

I have one medallion done of the four.  I think this is going to be done in a month or so.

Not Miscounted

It turns out that the lopsided look of this is solely due to the lopsided fabric at the moment.  It'll get fixed once I block it.  That means I can get more done.

Adding Baroque Decorations

I added to the middle now, with some large flourishes.  It also looks like I am going to have to do some ripping out on the right.

Crossing The Top

This has come back up on my rotation, and I have rediscovered that this color combination appeals to me.  The top border is stitching up pretty quickly, so I hope this is one of those small, fast projects.

Tender Heart Done

This came out pretty well, despite the shredding of the metallic floss.  I don't yet know what I'm going to do with it, but I hope to get it made into something soon.
