Round And Round We Go

I think this looks pretty good, and I'm already almost done.  One more crazy January start about to become a finish!

All Stuffed

I actually put something together!  I haven't done that in quite a while, so I'm happy.  My little autumn (spring) biscornu is done!

Got Something Done

My purple snowflakes are done.  I like the way this turned out and will probably make it into a fob or ornament once I'm done unpacking.

Blue FIlling

This session I got all the blue filling on the middle done.  Next it's time to add more bling.

Branching Out

The tines of my fleur-de-lis are coming into existence.  I should have this one finished this month, I think.

Fan Dangling

I finally put this  together!  It's so much easier to move things when they're put together, so one of my foci is getting things completed.  I think it came out pretty well.  This is one of Nordic Needle's Fandangle kits.

Crazy January Start #15: Counted Square

When this is done, it'll be perfect for a scissors fob.  I found it on Pinterest and decided I needed a few easy projects this year.  It's already about a third of the way done.

Crazy January Start #11: Merrily, Merrily

I hope to get this finished by Christmas so I can give it and the Peace on Earth ornament to my mother.

Crazy January Start #6: Fleur-de-lis Celebration

I didn't start this last year because Andreas didn't like the black and gold combination.  This year I got around that by making it gold and wine.  He likes it much better.

Back To The Colonial

Although I received my Needle Arts just before Christmas, I was unable to work on my Colonial Band Sampler until this past week.  As you can see, I got a flower done.  There's not all that much left to do, and I will have it done by the next CyberStitchers meeting.

Alpha-Beting

The alphabet is the last bit of part three, and I'm almost done with it.  I think this is coming along pretty well.

Parting

Another couple of rows done.  It's coming along a bit, and I should be done with this part soon.

Poppy Done

Well, it's done and I don't like the results.  This one I'm going to blame on the directions.  It seems the designer was not familiar with the threads actually in the kit, which resulted in lack of coverage on the border.  The instructions were perfunctory and hard to follow.  The chart was unclear. And I really hated working it.  It's done now, so it's one more piece off my list!  I learned to not start something without proper instructions.

Done For Now

So far, my band sampler is much more colorful than the original.  Andreas likes it better than the original photo, so that's good.  The first two parts are done.  I'm now waiting for the third part to show up in the mail.  This sampler has also reinforced my hatred of queen stitches.

Banding Together

I am almost done with the second part!  I prefer working these actual bands rather than the other parts at the top.  They just appeal to me more.

Joined Up

This is all joined up now and ready to get the border done.  Getting so much closer!  There's an inner border and some background to do and then it's done.
