Six Sided Snowflake

The thread is similar to Sugar n Cream, so this snowflake is a bit big for a tree. I might mount it in a hoop. Not sure yet.

 

Nikki's Afghan

I got Nikki's afghan done before she went on pregnancy medevac. Even better, she likes it!

 

Kerry's Afghan

Kerry provided the yarn; I provided the stitches. Now she has a nice warm afghan.

 

Made A Doily

The plan has been to make more of these, but I have yet to find the time.

 

Baby Blanketed

I made it in the right color and mom loves it. So does baby Benjamin. This was a simple granny square afghan, and it took me a couple of months.

 

First Washcloth

Trying to use up some of my yarn, so I made a washcloth. Going to make other things, too, as I want to get my stash down.

 

Zadie's Afghan

Baby was born in April. At least this is going to be in time to keep her warm over this winter.

Gifts From Prison

These were made for me by inmates at Lipjan prison. I visit there fairly often for my job and have established a rapport with both the inmates and the staff.

Big Book, One Pattern

This very large book has only one crochet pattern in it. The blanket it makes is equally huge. Now to look at getting started.

Blanket For Mariana

I finally finished the blanket for Mariana, Mel and James' baby girl, a month ago.  They just received it yesterday.  Yay for getting things done!

Made For Me

This is a little - odd.  I visit a women's prison every six months or so as part of my job.  The women's prison has crafts and teaches tailoring for when the prisoners get out, so they can find employment.  I have started bringing craft supplies to help them out.  On my last visit, I was given these two purses and bun holders by the lady I visit.  She gave them to me herself.  It's very sweet.  I brought them back to the office and asked about keep/not keep because of our dollar restrictions.  I was allowed to keep them.  The purses are really cute.

Another Afghan

This is a Lion brand pattern that I used Lion Brand Mandala yarn for.  It's in a color picked out by the mom, and it's ready before the baby's due.  Now I have at least two more to make very soon.

Afghan for Isabella

The Bartletts had their baby this month, and this afghan is going to Colombia to greet them when they get back home.  I said no pink, so they picked orange.

Going To The Doilies

Andreas' boss' wife was getting rid of some crochet books.  I need new crochet books like a hole in the head, but I picked out these four.  Now to find time to make them.
