English Water Garden Home
I received my English Garden round robin blocks in the mail last week. Aren't they pretty? I had asked for a water garden theme. Thank you so much, ladies! Now to figure out what I'm going to make from them!

That Was Quick!
The quickie is all done and ready to be made into an ornament! It's much brighter than the picture in person.
Tuscan Tradeoff
I forgot to rotate the picture before posting it, but here's the Tuscan mandala. Another acantus leaf outlined and the top part of the first corner is almost done. Progress, no matter how slow, is still progress...

Monogrammed Again
This was the last of the monogram blocks for me to work on. It's for Nicki Lee, and it came to me a bit bare. I hope she likes how I added to it. The finished block is in the picture below.

Lunch at a Bookstore
About three weeks ago, people at the embassy went on a walking tour of political history in Uruguay. It was really interesting, and we ended it with lunch in the cafe at Puro Verso in Ciudad Vieja. Pictures of food! It was all good and, as you can see, beautifully presented. The bookstore's neat, too.

A Wintry Scene
Wendy picked an icy winter scene for her Winter DYB blocks. I embellished this one for her. I hope she likes it.
