This is a simple 8 point kiku done on a largish ball, but I think the design looks elegant. I used Watercolours thread from Caron. This one's color is Potpourri, and it reminds me of Christmas. I've been using Watercolours a lot for my temari lately because I love the way it looks, and it doesn't kink or tangle easily.

Another Block of Roses
Top is a picture of Cathy's block as I received it. Bottom is after my work. For some reason, this block didn't speak to me at all, and I had a hard time coming up with stuff to put on it. I hope she likes what I did.

Working on the Stripes
This looks to be almost halfway done. For some reason, I haven't gotten the middle-of-the-project blues with this one. It might be because it's a small piece.

Awarded
Thank you to the Friendly Stitchers Yahoo group! They handed me the Wet Noodle Award, a prize for making the most progress on UFO's in a ten month period. They also gave me some stash. Here are pictures of what they sent. Isn't it remarkably generous, and I'll even be using it!
So, I Prefer LeMans
You can tell because I'm putting up more of the LeMans than anything else in this set. Look how open and accessible they are compared to the others. The cars are beautiful, even after having been driven hard, too.
