I can't take credit for any of these; they were all planted before we arrived. On the other hand, I can enjoy them! All these beautiful flame tulips started blooming in my garden about two weeks ago. The tulips are just about gone now, but the daffodils and cherry blossoms are going strong.

Stem
I've started on the green stem of the yellow blob. Because it was all in one area, the progress is pretty prominent looking!
Part One Done
I finished the first part and will start the second soon. I prevaricated quite a bit about the chickens, but I hope they don't look quite so prominent in the overall sampler.

Adding Some Grape Leaves
I spent a long time embroidering a big, huge leaf on Darlene's wine block. I also added a smaller leaf and a quote from Robert Lewis Stevenson. I hope she likes it. Top is before; bottom is after.

New Stash
This is what we bought at Milestii Mici. Our wine cabinet is having problems holding all our bottles lately. Two of these will go to Amy and Tommy for the benefit; one will go to Kirby and Currie; and one to Andreas' parents. Each of you, place your dibs now.
For the record, all of these combined cost under $100. Also, the bottles in the bottom photo have maps of the cellars on them and are supposedly better vintages. We didn't taste an outright bad wine there, but the wines are definitely a bit on the sweeter rather than drier side. Moldova is known for that.
