Lofting It
The consular section went to eat lunch at The Loft a couple of weeks ago. One of the staff was going to America to start a new job, so we gave her a bon voyage. I had my usual chicken and poached egg salad. The second picture is of a different salad (the nicoise, I think). All the food was good and the wine flowed and the former coworker is now in California already working at her new job and enjoying the sunshine.

Poppy Pilot
I finished this last year, but haven't been able to show it until now. The new group correspondence course was unveiled in Inside EGA last week, so I'm free to share. This is a crewel piece, and about seven inches tall. The overall design is fairly easy, and the colors I used were all from stash. I liked doing it; I just wish EGA would offer some more challenging pieces.
