Rising Up

The building is beginning to rise over the floral ornament.  I've never been to Tuscany, but I think this one's the Duomo.

High Marks For Presentation

During Christmas week, we were in Galveston with Andreas' parents and uncle.  On Christmas eve, the restaurant we were going to was next to an apartment fire and it was rather smoky.  That meant we ended up going to Brick House.  It was a good choice.  I had no appetizers, but the others had fried stuffed olives and deviled eggs.  They said both were excellent.  Andreas especially liked the olives.

This is the reason I had no appetizers.  I had fried zucchini and French onion soup.  I fell victim to American portion sizes again; they were huge.  Although the food was fresh and hot and wonderful, I couldn't eat half of it.

Andreas had a ranch chicken sandwich and tater tots, which he finished.  The bun was oval instead of round, which helped accommodate the shape of the chicken breast.

Squirreled And Birded

Yep, over one a lot on this piece.  Bird, squirrel and man are all over one...

Above The Stable

The houses above the stable are coming along pretty well, I think.  It feels good to be working on the fourth edge, finally.

Italian in Gatlinburg

My pizza had bacon, onions and olives on it, and it was good ... but I've been spoiled by Pizzeria Caruso here at home.  It was a bit doughy for my taste.  Andreas' Best Italian lunch was a muffaletta sandwich.  He thoroughly enjoyed it.

Earrings From Austria

I seem to be getting a rather large number of earrings.  These were bought at the same time as my hat.  I like this design and have some similar with black stones.  They get lots of compliments.  Maybe these will too.

Shoes I Love

Have you ever wanted a new pair of shoes without having to buy a new pair?  Want to express your creativity?  I own a pair of these and you can do that with them.  They feel great, too.

I rarely endorse anything, but I really want this Kickstarter to make so I can get another pair of their wonderful sandals.
