Wasp Fascination

Andreas was fascinated by the wasps that attacked his lamb chops after he was done with them and he photographed the wasps in action for about twenty minutes.

Last Picture

I was putting this on my frame to stitch on Saturday and complaining that I really didn't like the design and the way it was turning out.  My husband said he didn't like it either, so why didn't I just abandon it?  I took his advice and abandoned it.  There's a lot of fabric that can be used for other projects and the stitching itself will be saved for crazy quilting projects.  Yay freedom!

Creeping Over

I only have ten more columns to finish the two pages I'm on, so more and more the floss creeps over to the next two pages.  It's good to feel progress.

Purcari Wine Tasting

Wine tasting at Purcari is a -big deal-.  There were ten wines to taste and eleven glasses for each person - one for water.  You get a score card and a few nibbles and half a glass of wine as an initial taste for each variety.  There's also a video about Purcari and a sommelier who tells you about each wine.  The tasting itself takes longer than the tour.

Second Flower Petaling

I -think- I'm over halfway done with this now.  There isn't all that much left to go.

Beached

Beach Construction is now done, striking another project off the Crazy January list.  I'm going to make this into a pin pillow when I get the time.  It's not a piece I'm attached to, but I already have someone lined up to take it from me.

Different Views

This top panorama is of the vineyards around the winery.  Below are photos of the "real" cellar, which has vaults dating back to the 1820's.  Those vaults are only half high and a tight fit to crawl into, so I let Andreas do it.
