On The Border

I can't stop smiling about this piece because I'm officially working on the borders!  Yay!  The last building of the last side is stitched and now I just have borders to do.

Nesting

Our outdoor terrace table was not only attacked by hornets, it had birds in the rafters too!

In The Background

This time it's all about the background.  A darning pattern repeated over and over again gets boring very quickly.

A Gargyle Start

Andreas and I saw a chart by Joan Elliott called Gargoyles.  We both liked it; I bought it and the threads and then fished a piece of fabric out of my stash.  It's now begun.

Wasp Fascination

Andreas was fascinated by the wasps that attacked his lamb chops after he was done with them and he photographed the wasps in action for about twenty minutes.

Last Picture

I was putting this on my frame to stitch on Saturday and complaining that I really didn't like the design and the way it was turning out.  My husband said he didn't like it either, so why didn't I just abandon it?  I took his advice and abandoned it.  There's a lot of fabric that can be used for other projects and the stitching itself will be saved for crazy quilting projects.  Yay freedom!

Creeping Over

I only have ten more columns to finish the two pages I'm on, so more and more the floss creeps over to the next two pages.  It's good to feel progress.
