A Bit Of Branch

The bird's done and it's time to branch out.

Not So Texas Barbecue

After helping with consumables shopping, I was taken to dinner at Texas Jack's.  A friend had told me it was like being in Texas.  Decor, maybe.  Food? No way!  No Texas barbecue joint would put radishes on its nachos.  There was so much foo foo greenery that it could never be mistaken for Texas barbecue.  It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't Texan.

Hanging Out At The Water Hole

It's morning and animals are thirsty, even tawny hawks.

Owl's Almost Done

Working my way along on this.  It's becoming my daily project in the next couple of days so I can motor it out to done.

Walking Along The Flowers

I am slowly making my across this fourth line of stitching.  All these repeats get boring.

Dinner At Clyde's

Over Memorial Day weekend I had dinner with friends at Clyde's, a restaurant with a large following in Georgetown.  The portions are huge, and no one complained about the food.  I loved that I could get a side of fresh fruit instead of fries.  My bacon and cheeseburger was very good.

Oh No, A Rhino!

This guy was wandering through the brush.  According to the guide, his territory is between two of the closest water holes to the eastern gate.
