Like all Moldovan events, this one had long speeches in between acts. It also had a drone for better television coverage. There were even a king and queen of the festival.
Mom and I took an intercoastal waterway cruise while in Fort Lauderdale. It rained part of the time, but there were a lot of too expensive homes to look at, and it was much easier than walking.
Since dinner the night before was so good at the hotel next door, we decided on breakfast there, too. I got bacon! I think every time I ate breakfast out, I ordered bacon. The omelette was good, too, and Mom enjoyed her french toast.
These in the black and red are from Italy. It's an organization similar to our Knights of Columbus. No idea why they ended up in Moldova for this, but they did raise a lot of money for the Don Bosco center while they were there.
Making the first star square now, as it goes on. Happy the star itself is done, but it's harder to count when the designer deliberately has you stitch one thread off sometimes.
