Another Baby Afghan

Completely stitched out of stash, this afghan was for a baby who was born back in September.  We didn't find out about it until October.  That's how things go in Angola, since the infant mortality rate is one in six.

Lining Up

After the parade, everyone lined up to be introduced.  Lots of groups!

On Stage And On Drone

Like all Moldovan events, this one had long speeches in between acts.  It also had a drone for better television coverage.  There were even a king and queen of the festival.

So Close

It is close to the end of the year and I am close to being done!

Time For Horses

I don't think the horses liked the heat much, but they behaved very well.  Some even did dressage.

Since dinner the night before was so good at the hotel next door, we decided on breakfast there, too.  I got bacon!  I think every time I ate breakfast out, I ordered bacon.  The omelette was good, too, and Mom enjoyed her french toast.
