Crazy January #1 - Monochrome Owl

This was my start with crazy January.  It's for Andreas, and although it looks like cattle horns, it's the top of an owl's head.  I'm doing it on tiny count and hoping I have enough thread.

The Statue

He's in the middle of a circle and he's not as big as his memorial, but this Agostinho Neto is still pretty big.  It's one of the few places in the city kept clean, most of the time.

Saint Margaret's Chapel

This is the inside of the oldest still standing church in Scotland.  It's inside Edinburgh Castle, and it's tiny!

Worded

Well, I'm nearly halfway down the way.  It feels like these will take longer than last year's. It's coming along, though.

Bodied

Hooty's body is done; now it's time to do the special stitches and then do the beading.  There are lots of beads to put on this, but it's almost done.

By The University

Just past the airport is the university.  It's one of the better kept up areas, but it's still dingy.

Looking About

From the courtyard to the greensward below, the views are wonderful.  They even have a puppy cemetery for all the dogs posted at the castle.  Too bad there isn't more green in the castle.
