I went to SiNaCa studios in Fort Worth and took a glass class. I made two items - a pumpkin and a paperweight - and had so much fun doing it! Here you can see the kilns they use to keep the glass hot, plus one of the instructors rolling glass.
While Andreas requires Genghis Grill, I require a hibachi restaurant for the tempura. This was our trip to one, and the tempura and show were both great. Of course, there was too much food, but that didn't bother us.
Andreas insists on going to Ghengis Grill every time we're in the States now. He likes choosing everything that goes into his bowl. This time, we tried lettuce wraps, too. I think next time we will skip them. Andreas' was with rice. Mine was with noodles and tortillas.
