More Bits Of Red

Andreas was complaining that there's too much chartreuse in this.  He calmed down a bit after I stitched some more red bits, which put the green a bit in the background.  I'm getting pretty far quickly, which I am happy about.

Stitching Houses

Martina Weber has died and there will be no more Chatelaine mandalas.  Luckily, there are a lot to do.  I am working on this one and have been for a while.  I now have the second house worked all of one part of the roof.  Plus, I am beginning to do the specialty stitches on the houses because I'm done with all the back stitching on part four.  Picking up the pace a bit, I hope, as I have lots of time off at the moment.

Gifted By Restaurant

We were given this calendar when we went out to eat at a Chinese buffet in Vienna with friends.  Time to put it up.

Candling

Found this beautiful little beeswax candle in a Christmas market in Vienna.  All the sides have pressed flowers in them.

Advent Goodies

I got my stitchy box in time to open it as scheduled.  I was happily surprised.  Opening a small package every day was a pleasure.  Some of the items were great, some not so much.  But now I have more things to do.

More Steampunk

I find it curious that the only steampunk patterns or kits I can find are Russian.

Muted Colors

I like the colors I am using on this a lot.  Plus, I've got the whole top part done, so I'm happy.
