Lion Gives The Finger

Making progress on this.  The lion, though, looks like he's giving the finger as he holds the shield.  I wonder if this was deliberate.

One more flower done and a good start on the only butterfly on the piece.

We had hope for this restaurant on the Alte Gasse. Unfortunately, our hope was not realized.  The food was bland and uninspired. At least it was fresh.

This is a series of 12 squares with a border.  Each of the squares is a Halloween pun.  I bought the recommended thread and found this piece of fabric from fiberlicious.  I think it will look very good on it.

Spanish Steak And Tapas

There's a Spanish restaurant just off the Hauptwache that's Buenas something and it's very good.  They do steak - they cook or let you cook on a stone - and tapas.  We had a very good and filling meal there.
