The classic Hungarian flatbread dish is called langos. The dough is fried and then cold cheese and sour cream (and whatever other toppings) are piled onto it, then folded so they melt-ish. Tasted pretty good, but was HUGE. We got this from a street vendor behind the cathedral.
This alley in Budapest was pretty obviously a high class tourist trap. But it had good food. Which is why the tour led here. We tried various condiments, sausages, and cheeses. Along with the local rakia. They were all excellent and artisanal. And expensive.
These two pillowcases were the last item on my 2015 crazy January start list. They're done! This is the first year I've completed. Some others are looking kind of empty now, too.
I've had this kit for quite a while, and now it's getting stitched. Will have a bauble in the middle. Not sure if I'm going to keep it as a cross or put something else in.
