Bedroom, Kitchen, and Embroidery

It seems even the wealthiest houses were crowded back in the day. The bedroom had several beds in it, plus a cradle. The kitchen was tiny. But the embroideries were beautiful.

This piece of cartonnage and everything in it was given me by one of the people I visit regularly for my job. She does a great deal of making. They turned out well.
