I placed an order with Valdani last month, and it arrived.  Here's what I got!  I started using some on some of my January starts.

Crazy January Start #20 - Suck It Up Buttercup

I like the saying.  Andreas likes the saying.  It's very appropriate here.  Looks like this is getting into my rotation very soon.

Not So Ducky

It's done, and you can still (barely) see the duck in his tail.  He's definitely a dragon now!

Reddit Gift Exchange

I participated in the reddit Christmas exchange.  So far, I've had pretty bad luck.  The exchange I participated in in spring of 2015 resulted in me sending and getting nothing.  This one - I sent and at least I got into the "make up" pile.  The person who stepped in when my partner failed sent me a tardis sleep mask and a Catan pouch.  Will use the pouch.  I don't use sleep masks.  At least it came!

Crazy January Start #18 - Thistle Oval

It's out of order and just looks like a parabola, but it'll grow.

Rebanded

Yay, the second band is all the way across!  Now I get to do something different.

Very Pink

I had all the leftover pink yarn from a previous baby blanket, so I made a shawl.  It'll be given away.

Crazy January Start #19 - Sticla cu vin

This is a Luca-S kit I picked up before leaving Moldova.  There is a set of three of these type, and I bought all three.  Wish my black fabric had gotten in, though.

Still Middling

I've still got a lot to do on the central icon, but it's getting more and more defined.

Nordic Needle had a bead kit sale at the beginning of the month.  Mine finally came!

Crazy January Start #9 - The Garden Gate

Major color change on this, and finally a photo of it.  It's not too big.  Maybe soon in the rotation.

More Fin

Pretty much all the front of the head is filled in, and the fin is getting larger.

Odd Bird

I got the big bird body all couched down.  It took a bit!  There's also the beginning of a bar on him.

Filling In Trees

This time I was just filling in the trees on the left.  The piece is beginning to look a bit more full.

Crazy January Start #17 - Cowgirl Up Buckle

This is one of a series of buckles I bought and am working on.  It's got a lot of odd shapes, but at least it's started now.  When it's complete, it'll be number four of six.

This is off to a good start.  It's small, so I hope to add it to the rotation soon.

Six In A Column

I'm up to six turtles now.  The color variations are getting more pronounced, too.

No Snow Here

Since it's late summer, no snow at all here.  It's what happens near the equator.  So I will dream of snow and continue my snowflake.

Crazy January Start #15 - Kamal Kadai Flower

This was a really quick stitch, so I was able to start and finish it in the same day.  Go me!  I need that kind of boost every once in a while.  It's a technique I'll use again someday.

Crazy January Start #14 - Purple Snowflakes

Just a little biscornu I found oniine. It seems to be a pretty quick stitch.  Now to find the time, though I am finding some time at work to stitch.

All The Way

It's now really edge to edge.  I've been filling in bits on the peahen and the background behind her lately.  It seems to be getting more done, but the going is sloooow.

I found this piece while still in Moldova and bought it to make for my mother.  Now it's started, it's time to get it done.

The inside of the quatrefoil is beginning  to take shape.  There are now green shapes in there.

I completely changed up the thread color.  It was one I thought would look good and that I had.  I'll be adding it to me rotation soon so it can be done quickly.

Another couple of lengths of floss.  Eventually some green will show up in this... and maybe next time I'll even start one of the letters!

Crazy January Start #10 - Shades of Iris

Yes, number nine is missing.  It wasn't photographed for some reason last week and will appear later.  In the meantime, here's ten.  It's my first foray into huck weaving, and I think it looks pretty good so far.  It took me about four starts before I did it right, though.  Now that I understand both the cloth and chart, I expect to be able to go a bit faster when I work on it.

Finishing Fringe

The fringe from the dragon's mouth is complete now.  I'm not  sure how I feel about it.  Going to have to wait for more dragon to appear before making a decision.

More Kitchen Aid

My husband, on top of the meat grinder, also got me a food processor for the mixer.  Of course, that has to mean I get the mixer .... which, along with the rest of our stuff, hasn't arrived. 

All Plotted Out

I have my Blackstone Fantasy Garden done!  It looks pretty good.  This means I get to cross off another Crazy January finish.

One more monochrome design here.  This is a small round motif from Tante Zolder's website.  There are huge numbers of these kinds of designs on it.

I not only have an obsession with hearts, I have one with snowflakes.  Expect more on this page soon!  It also helps that they're monochromatic, since I still don't have my stash.

Andreas liked all the St. George imagery in eastern Europe, so I decided to make him some myself.  The kit is from Thea Gouvenour.  A bit of start, at least.

I have always loved automatic pipettes.  They are so cool!  Andreas got me one for Christmas off of ebay.  I can use it for cooking and, if I get the time and my stuff, for marbling!
