This has started. It's pretty big, but so far all only half stitches so seems to go faster.

Needlework Buys
I bought a couple more kits this autumn. I've been wanting the fix kit for quite a while and it was back in stock.
Entrance to Jewish History
The POLIN museum in Warsaw tells the story of Jews in greater Poland. This is the imposing entrance from the ticket desk. Not sure of the meaning.

Whiskey in the Jar
In Poland, it's not just a song - it's a restaurant. We ate there on one of Leonora's last days here. She had the truffle burger. I had steak; Andreas had chicken. They also had fancy drinks, so we had some of those too.

Meal in Dresden
After out chilly tour walking around Dresden, we were hungry and cold so we decided to go eat. We found somewhere good, too, accidentally. It was just off the main square and had delicious food.

Scotched and Stewed
All the squares filled and it looks like I have a lot more light green area than I wanted. Not going to bother to change it, though.

Stemmed and Trellises
The order of stitching has been dictated by the order the tutor is teaching us stitches. So lots of stem and chain done, some block shading, and two trellises.

Pointe du Hoc Views
This is from an elevation a bit back looking into bunkers and over the cliff. You can't walk close to the cliff anymore; it's disintegrating and they're afraid it will break off with someone on it. Also, the bunkers are now locked and you can't just wander into them. Kind of sad.

Factory and Palace
The black grime is one way you can tell this is the former cigarette factory in Dresden. Also, the clock. Have to have shift changes on time. The palace grounds below are undergoing renovation. This is the back side of the palace; we walked the long way to get there, though.

Over to the Hen
Done with all the colors and working on the peahen for a bit now. Means there's a lot of progress, though.
Far on the Right
Those stitches far on the right represent the right edge of the design. I'm inching slowly closer. Of course, there are whole pages below this too.
A Bit of Sash
Worked on the sash on the right some more. It's practically done, which means the skirt has to come to an end soon, too, right?
Another Mystery Box - and Something Else
Got another mystery box of totes. Took the blue one on home leave with us to break it in. I also got a surf Lola which I used when we got home.
