Got Hearts

Hearts are in place and it's about time to do the background.

Lots of Argyle

To me this is looking like the pattern on an argyle sweater. I assume that will change once I get more stitched.

Two Dogs Done

A canvas done. I know who it's for. I just need to put it together in the shape I want.

EnCrowed

All hooped up and now gifted.

Sew Sampler September 2025

A jelly roll to make stuff with. Unfortunately, I have not gotten any real sewing done over the past year. I -thought- going into it that I would have Saturdays open. That has not happened. Plus an extended stay in the States. So my sewing machine languishes. I hope this changes after home leave.

In the Magazine

This military museum is on the property of a former fort. The only real structure left is an ammo magazine built into the hillside. All of this is inside it. Mainly stuff from between the world wars and through World War 2. Torpedos dominate.

Breakfast and Tortillas

Andreas needed his tater tots for breakfast. We ate well. This was Ol'South - we were revisiting favorites before having to leave.

Just Carol

Carol claims she's always overlooked. She's not; she just thinks she is. So here is a post with only photos of her on a walk.

Two Full Flowers

Progressing along - one more flower, the largest, done. One more to go.

Backstitching Made the Piece

Until I did the backstitching, this looked like a bunch of blobs. Now it looks like a street. And it's  done. Yay!

All the Scrolls and Branches

Scrolls and branches and wings done. Even little feet. Now to make this into an ornament.

Filling in the Pond

Photos of progress during my class in October last year. Lots of pond to get the right shades for.

Scarves from Ukraine

Andreas buys things at each artisan fair at the Embassy. He bought these scarves for me. I especially like the one with the schematics on it. Most are silk.

Interwar Cars

Vehicles used by the Polish military and government during the years between World Wars One and Two.

Railhead Lunch

A very filling lunch from Railhead. I miss them, too. Will be back in a month. We are going to be eating waaay too much in August.

Many Puppy Faces

Lots of faces showing lots of attitude. And how small a space a Grayson can curl up into.
