Actually, when people in the parade see Andreas' huge camera and lens, they pose. Sometimes to the point of holding up the parade...

Birds Done
Back to See the Star, and I've completed the center birds and the date now. It's officially most of the way done. Now to finish it by April!
Cray January #12 - Pink Crystal
A piece I could start and finish in one day! So I did. It was quick and made a pretty little ornament. It made me feel good to finish one, too.

Last Asian Block
This is the last block for me to work on in the Asian round robin. As you can see, Peggy's block doesn't have very much room left after all the other ladies did their wonderful work on it.
I added a pagoda, a couple of seam treatments, and some charms, then sent it on home. It's with Peggy now!

Crazy January #11- Hannah's Hummingbird Knot Garden
Here's a kit that's been sitting in my stash for quite a while, so what better opportunity to start it than the Crazy 15? It uses Madeira threads instead of DMC, and the packages are weird to get used to. Other than that, things are going fairly smoothly, though I'd always rather use something like Treasure Braid than blending filament to give sparkle.
Necklace for Mary
Andreas made this necklace and earring set for Mary F. We gave it to her yesterday, and she loved it.

Crazy January #10 - Jubilation
This piece is a little diamond boxtop. I've got the center done and am working outward. It's a small design with a lot of different counted stitches.

Crazy January #9 - In the Land of the Free
Yet another kit, this one's by The Sweetheart Tree. It's a tribute to the troops, and since half the embassy is made up of military, I'm sure I can find it a good home.
I Still Say It's a Salamander...
Andreas still calls it a dragon. Anyway, I'm back to working on it too. I'm within three rows of being done with the first of two and a half pages. W00t!

Crazy January #8 - Gabriella
This is my needlepoint piece for the crazy January challenge. It's in golds and white and tent stitch, not normally my style, so I'm stretching... right?
Constructing the Middle
I'm still working on the middle building of the right side. it's getting there; most of the bottom part is done. It feels good to get back to my regular projects now that the holidays are done.
