It's looking like a real purse now. I got the second side sewn up. Didn't make any progress on the strap, though. Should be able to report progress on that next posting on this. With every step done, it's looking prettier. My husband keeps saying, "Are you sure you want to give this to our daughter?" I promised it to her, so she'll be getting it. Next step on the purse itself is beading all the edges in black.

Roses
Since taking these pictures on Saturday, I've finished all the red on the roses. All I have to do is complete a couple of leaves and it'll be done. Good thing, too, since I have that other one that I got in the mail last week! For those of you keeping track, this one is the fourth of six. The needlework tools is the fifth of six. One more after that one, and mine comes home!

Pottering Along
Part One Done, Onto Two and Three
I really like the copper on the inner tiling in the middle of the garden. Yes, it's all stitched in, just not on this picture. I've started filling in Parts 2 and 3. Because there are some charting errors on the Part 2 design, I'm going to be doing Parts 2 and 3 together using Part 3's chart to get it right. It's going to be hard to tell when I complete one part or the other, though.

Heart Takes Shape
I've got the heart itself done but for the lines inside. Then, the circle on the outside and it's done. If only I can get some time. This week, I got very little stitching done - I ended up spending six hours on Wednesday finishing kissing pillows for a deployment party and then other things kept me busy the rest of the week. At least my husband's home this week. It's good to see him.
