Building Up

It's one of those weeks where you have to look closely to see progress, but I promise you it's there. Another building was started, and dark was added to one of the others.

Lots of Outlines

When I did the first part of this project, I didn't think there'd be all that much blackwork. I was wrong. It seems that each of the outer areas will be mainly blackwork, and that's what I did this week - lots of the same leaf pattern.

Knotted Up

I finished the major knot outline this week and started adding some bling. You can see, now that it's all done, the piebald effect of stitching the way the instructions said. It looks like individual tiles instead of a continuous line. I hope that's what the designer was going for.

Waves of White

Okay, so the picture looks a bit yellow, but I promise it's white. I did a lot of white back and forth this week. It's something I have to get used to with Mr. Michelin, but he still looks cute.

Zentangle Zebra

This second part of the zentangle flower looks like a zebra to me. I finished it off this week, but haven't taken a picture of it done. I'll be doing that tonight or tomorrow when the third part of Tam's mystery is done.

Round and Round We Go

I did a lot of Jessica stitches this week - all those pink ones in the middle. I also added some Algerian eyes to the outer area. It's coming along and I'm almost done with part one of three. Of course, the group ends at the end of the month. Think I'll catch up?

Beginning to Fill the Egg

You have to look at the enlarged picture to see most of this week's stitching, since it's mainly half stitches. They're quicker to do than full stitches, and take up less floss, so I get more progress. Four of these eggs, all the way around, and stripes with cross and specialty stitches tying them together. This one is definitely going with me to Kosovo, so I'll still make progress there. When I stitch.
