I don't know why this particular picture turned out more turquoise, but it did. Anyway... I'm on the bottom motifs of the piece! It's close.

A Different Kind of Celtic Block
This is Wendy's Celtic round robin block and I believe it was the hardest ever round robin block for me to work on. Although the theme was Celtic, the colors just did not inspire me at all in that direction. I felt like I should put on something African or such. Anyway, I stared at it and stared at in and looked and looked at Celtic designs for inspiration. I finally found a little bit.
Here it is after my work on it. I added a big seam with beads and trim, a bird and a dragon. I also did a less big seam with gold rectangular beads. The bird was based on one from Aon Celtic, and the rest was in my stash. I did it in yellow to show up well on the purple. It's still not saying Celtic to me, but I hope it's what Wendy likes.

Little Houses
I did some of the backstitch thing and also did more cross stitch on the fifth part. There is now a complete little house in the corner.
Next to Last
I finished the next to last section of Quakerchen and am almost done. It's really turning out beautifully. I'm thinking of making it into a pinkeep.

Popping Out
With all the cross stitches done, it's time for outlining. I got some of it done, and it really makes the vines pop out. Almost done!

Started a New Set
I've started a new set of squares. Must mean I'm making progress, right? They're giving them to me seven squares at a time now. It's almost overwhelming, but I -am- getting there.

One Plus
One part and started on the second done on Fiori. There are only four parts, and I'm getting a bit more done on it. It'll be a little Christmas ornament when I'm done, but in the meantime, it's just a cute little over one piece.
