Final Row...

Yay, I've started the final row of squares to get this done.  And they're smaller, so I should maybe get it done this month?  I'm working on it nearly every day.

A Second Mongram

Ritva challenged us, on her block, to give her as many different kinds of monograms as possible.  She also asked to keep it in neutralish-pastelish tones. Here's how I got it.

And here is how it left my house a couple of weeks later.  I hope she likes it.

Last of the Brewery

Here are some last pictures of the brewery.  We spent the day at the countryside, and there are more pictures of Parque Salus (the area around the brewery) I'll be posting in the next few days.

Steampunk for Kathy

I love the way Kathi pieced this block.  It looks so industrial and Modrian and steampunky!  It also reminds me of a Victorian curiosity box, so I took that angle with my embellishments, below.  I had to stop to leave room for others.

I love original doors.  I thought this one was especially nice, since it's an elevator too.

Copper-clad vats.  Lovely to look at, but they don't use them anymore.

Done with the Hardest of Four

I was sent four squares to complete before getting the next parts, and the one with the most stitching was the first - which is now done (Yay!).  Now to get on with the other three, which will end with the third corner of the design being completed!
