Every year, Talk Temari does a Lunar New Year exchange. I participated this year and sent this ball to Tina. It's done in the traditional colors of green, gold, red and white. These are not my usual comfort zone colors, and I put it on a C8, which I finally marked correctly (yay!) and did a stitch new to me, too. Tina received it on Friday, so I can post it now.

Jewels on Black Home
I sent these blocks out in September, and last week they came back to me. I'd like to thank Wendy, Rita, Darlene, Debbie and Janet, who did such a wonderful job embroidering them! I get to do one myself, too, before I turn them into something. Thank you so much, I love them!

Ing's English Garden
I had forgotten about this round robin because I'd not had a block for over two months. This one arrived toward the end of January, so it was time to get back to work! Ing said she wanted silk ribbon embroidery, so I obliged, as you can see in the picture below. I made a big SRE heart covering most of the block.

Flowers!
Late Monday evening (yes, it was one of those days), I received this beautiful bouquet from Andreas. The delivery guy had come earlier in the evening while we were out, then called and came back around ten. It's beautiful! I'm thinking of doing something with the green curly paper and I think the tiny sweetheart rose bouquet that it's tied with is adorable. On top of that, they use eucalyptus as filler here, so it smells wonderful!

All Comparsa
This set is all comparsa. It's bright, colorful, and costumes range from near-complete coverage to nearly nothing! The noise is nearly deafening too, with all the drums.
