Lunch at a Bookstore

About three weeks ago, people at the embassy went on a walking tour of political history in Uruguay.  It was really interesting, and we ended it with lunch in the cafe at Puro Verso in Ciudad Vieja.  Pictures of food!  It was all good and, as you can see, beautifully presented.  The bookstore's neat, too.

A Wintry Scene

Wendy picked an icy winter scene for her Winter DYB blocks.  I embellished this one for her.  I hope she likes it.

Nearing ...

... a fourth row of six done.  The end is in sight!

Stucco and Sidewalk

Some of  the bottom sidewalk and then an extension of the peaches on the top story.  Next time, up to sky and roof.

Autumnal Stitching

It's the beginning of fall here, and Chilly Winds fits right in.  My piece is coming along pretty well for only being taken out of my purse sporadically.

Back from Beading

Yay, my basically beaded round robin block is back home!  Thank you, ladies, for making it so beautiful!

Temari for Connie

Connie in Hawaii was one of the winners of my One World, One Heart temari prizes.  It took me a bit longer than I had hoped, but I did make a temari for her in her chosen colors.  It's on its way to Hawaii as I write.
