About three weeks ago, people at the embassy went on a walking tour of political history in Uruguay. It was really interesting, and we ended it with lunch in the cafe at Puro Verso in Ciudad Vieja. Pictures of food! It was all good and, as you can see, beautifully presented. The bookstore's neat, too.

Temari for Connie
Connie in Hawaii was one of the winners of my One World, One Heart temari prizes. It took me a bit longer than I had hoped, but I did make a temari for her in her chosen colors. It's on its way to Hawaii as I write.
