Steampunked
Due to a technical failure, I don't have a before picture of this block. The only area not previously covered was the green on the left, so I did it. I made spring flowers, added a butterfly, and did a bit of seamwork. I hope Betty likes it when she gets it.

My Mate Cup
It was decided that we would get mate cups before we leave in July. I picked this one out at the Semana Criolla. It's super nice because it's porcelain-lined, meaning no curing it and it won't go bad. I like it.

Two-and-a-Bit
I'm getting really close now - down to two and a bit more squares. I'm -so- ready to have this done.

Local F3
There was a "Semana Criolla" at the Prado last week. Lots of local products, a rodeo, a gaucho song competition, and so on. One item they had outside one of the buildings was a race car! This car is used in F3 races in Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil, and is sponsored by one of the local shoe companies.

Two of Four
I managed to get a whole leaf done in one session this week. The second gingko leaf is done, so two more on the upper area, and one in the cut out.

Spotted on the Street
We left the house for a walk with Mattie, and this car was parked across the street. It's an old Ford Taunus. Yes, Taunus, not Taurus. This looks to be a late 1960's model with a weird Barracuda back thing going. Evidently they were made in Germany. One's still running around here.
