Another Ball of Triangles
Unplanned, I ended up making a whole series of temari with this pattern. Here's the one I made for Florine, who wants to make a bunch of temari for a Christmas display.
Green in the Graveyard
More pictures from Bueons Aires. These are pictures of greenery in the Recoleta Cemetery. It's got a lot of famous people in it, and is a beautiful place, even if very crowded with mausoleums and graves.

Blue Ball
I taught this pattern last week, ergo I had to stitch along with my student and make the design for her to see as it progressed. One of the benefits or drawbacks of bilingual education. Anyway... it's interlocking triangles and is the same design that I did a few temari ago. I used Watercolours thread for it, and think it came out pretty cool.

Bead Trip
Since Memorial Day is a day off at the embassy but not one in Uruguay in general, we went shopping. There's a possibility that we won't get back to the local bead shop, so we stocked up while we were there. Here's a picture of our haul.
Lunch in Buenos Aires
Since Andreas hadn't been processing pictures, you all never got to see these. Back in October, we spent a weekend in Buenos Aires. Here, how the Argentines make provoleta. It's a bit different from the Uruguayo version. Much more stuff on it. And the weekend we were there was also Mother's Day in Argentina. Yes, in October. The restaurant gave me a rose for it.
