Lace from Sussy
Isn't this lace pretty? Sussy gave it to me week before last when she came over for a temari lesson. It'll have to get packed away for now, since everything's getting packed up, but I'll be using it once I get to Moldova. Thank you again, Sussy!
Telling It to the Hand
This is Punta del Este's big monument and manmade tourist attraction. It's truly large, as you can see from the pictures, and it just stands in the middle of the beach.

Three Fish Done
I added the cap to the middle jellyfish! That means I've got three done, yay! It looks like I won't finish this here, but I'll get it done in Texas. Who knows? I might even get it done here after all the packing's done and there's not much to do for a week.

Still at the Beach - Punta del Este - March 2011
Just people we saw that Andreas took pictures of. The beach is Punta Brava on the east side of Punta del Este, and yes, the water is that blue and the sand that pretty.

Start to Finish in Two Days
Sometimes you just need a break from what you're doing, and for me, that time was last week. I needed some instant gratification. This piece did it. It's one of Nordic Needle's geometrics, and they provided the graph, pearl cotton and canvas. Two days in the middle of other things, and it was done. I'm not going to have time to make it into something before I move, but that's okay. I'll get to that later.

Punta Brava - Punta del Este
Beautiful white beaches with even a crowd on a non-holiday week after the season has ended. It was still warm, though the water was cold.
